Welcome to the Rolling Hills Swim and Dive Program! We compete in the Northern Virginia Swimming League (NVSL). The NVSL was founded in 1956 to sponsor competitive swimming and diving among the community swimming pools in that area of Northern Virginia contiguous to the District of Columbia, and to develop in the children participating in this program --
A love for the sport, advanced aquatic skills, teamwork, and the principles of good sportsmanship.

Seahawks Swim and Dive Team Membership
We invite members' children, age 5-18, to join the swim and/or dive team. The swim and dive season begins in late May with practices daily (see Practice Schedule above) and ends with a family banquet at the end of July. Swim meets are held Saturday mornings and Monday evenings. Dive meets are held on Tuesday evenings. The Seahawks teams are run exclusively by volunteers. It is the commitment of each team member and family to participate in the efforts to make swim and dive season enjoyable to all.
The Seahawks swim and dive teams are not just about competition. Our main objective is that participating children have fun while improving their swimming and diving skills. Our developmental swim meets, held on Monday evenings, are for all team members to improve and enhance their swimming skills in a competitive but fun environment. The Seahawks also have a number of team related social activities - so the fun is not limited to the water. If you have any questions regarding the Seahawks swim or dive teams, we encourage you to contact the team representatives. New swimmers and divers will be evaluated by the coaching staff on the first day of practice. If a swimmer or diver cannot fulfill the goals of the team then the swimmer or diver may be asked to work on their skills outside of swim or dive team and return the next season.
